Yes. We recommend that you notify your health insurance provider of the treatment in advance and obtain a pre-approval for coverage.
How far in advance should I book my vacation dialysis?
We recommend that you request your vacation dialysis in Interlaken at least 6–8 weeks before your trip begins. Dialysis slots fill up quickly, especially during peak season.
What documents do I need to submit in advance?
After you’ve contacted us via the form, we’ll work with you to plan your vacation dialysis. We’ll send you a questionnaire in advance for you to fill out. Please submit a legible copy of your passport, your list of diagnoses, your medication schedule, and your blood serology results along with the questionnaire.
